Title: Cranberry Apple Salad

Yield: 3 Servings

2cnWhole cranberry sauce, 1 lb.
  Each
2cBoiling water
2 3 oz. strawberry gelatin
2tbLemon juice
1/2tsSalt
1cMayonnaise
2cDiced apples
1/2cChopped walnuts

Melt cranberry sauce over medium heat. Drain, reserving liquid and berries. Mix together cranberry liquid, boiling water and gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Add lemon juice and salt. Chill until mixture mounds slightly on a spoon. Add mayonnaise; beat until smooth. Fold in cranberries, apples, and nuts. Pour into 2 quart mold. Chill overnight. Randy Rigg
